Constipation with IBS – case study

A very difficult, complex condition which may be different from time to time and from one person to another. This is what is helping me right now.

Last night, after I and my wife had eaten a dinner of fruit (always first, if at all), salad with olive oil and lime, soup (Dr Mc DOUGALL’S rice ramen, sesame chicken  flavor, gluten fee to which I added Edward & Sons garden veggie cube, gluten free and some lightly cooked vegs and coconut oil and my favorite spices, notably cinnamon, cardamom, etc.) and roasted chicken breast with boiled potato and baked Asian yam – a reasonably healthy dinner, I felt a little out of sorts.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         I did apply my Digestive Enzyme Protocall) (see article: Digestive Enzyme Protocall), but I felt very tired, and more uncomfortable than usual. I had bloated abdomen, extreme dryness in the nose and elimination has been incomplete for some days. The Materia Medica says for the homeopathic remedy, Collinsonia: “Chronic nasal, gastric and pharyngeal catarrh – pelvic and portal congestion resulting in edema, obstinate constipation and possibly hemorrhoids (which can be internal and not obvious), May have dull frontal headache, congestion and cough from suppressed hemorrhoids, sensation of constriction, dry feces and possibly sharp sticks in rectum and feel worse from mental emotion and cold, better heat.                                                                                                                               I decided that I needed Collinsonia, 30c and I put some in a water bottle and went for a walk, sipping occasionally, as I walked about a mile. Became much relieved of flatus and bloating and balance and well-being was greatly restored to my system. Collinsonia works wonders when I fit the symptoms, as described above.
